El Bethel Fellowship was started by David Atigbor with the vision of reaching out to people who are hurt, broken in heart, feeling hopeless and lead them to the Lord Christ who is the Healer, Savior and Hope. While on a business trip with his wife to Germany in 2008, the couple were broken in their hearts to see churches being empty and people are drifting away from their faith on God. They prayed and asked God if it is His will, He should bring them back to Germany to minister to these lovely people and show them the love of Jesus Christ. God being so faithful brought them back to Germany in 2015 from Shanghai. Before they moved to Germany, David and his family lived in Shanghai. While he was in Shanghai, he was ministering in the Harvest Fellowship as an elder, leading worship, preaching the word of God and making disciples among Chinese.
While most people identify the word "church" with a building or denomination, the meaning of the Greek word for "church" in the New Testament is an assembly of people. When Jesus told His disciples that He would build His "church" He did not mean a building or an organization but simply a group of people redeemed from sin by His sacrificial death.
The true nature of the church is an assembly of people and the true essence of Christianity is a relationship rather than a religion and this is what we focus on in our fellowship.
